Friendship Public Charter School is soliciting proposals and qualification statements from firms to provide Financial advisory services to Friendship Public Charter School, Inc. in connection with the planning and execution of (1) an estimated $40 million financing for a new school facilities project in Washington, DC and (2) the potential refinancing of the FPCS Series 2003 and Series 2006 Bonds (the “Project”). A selection committee will review and evaluate all qualification statements and proposals and may request that the bidders make oral presentations and or provide additional information. The selection committee will rely on: the qualification statements and proposals, the cost proposal, recommendations of previous school systems and the range of services in selection of finalists and, therefore, bidders should emphasize specific information considered pertinent to this solicitation and submit all information requested. Friendship Public Charter School Inc. (“Friendship”) reserves the right to reject any and all qualification statements, to cancel this solicitation, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in procedure.

Ivy Preparatory Academy is soliciting proposals and qualification statements from firms to provide financial and back office services across Ivy Preparatory Academy’s network of schools. Services will begin as scheduled on May 28th, 2012 and end one year later, on May 28th, 2013.

The scope of responsibilities will include:

(1) Managing an efficient and seamless transition of Back Office services from Ivy Preparatory Academy’s existing service provider
(2) Delivering the day-to-day back office support
(3) Acting as the Chief Financial Officer - Manage all financial matters for Ivy Preparatory Academy’s network of schools.

No respondent shall have any rights against Issuer arising at any stage of the solicitation from any negotiations that take place, or from the fact that Issuer does not select a respondent for negotiations. Respondents are advised that in no event, including, but not limited to, those events described in items (i) through (xii) of the preceding sentence, will Issuer or Charter School Tools reimburse the respondent for the cost of bid preparation, lost profits or consequential damages of any kind by virtue of Issuer not selecting an respondent to perform the work under this RFP.
